This was one of the few songs I’ve created where I began the composing process with a very specific goal in mind. The song title is a fitting counterpart to the title of the first song on the album, “A First Hello,” and it completes the story I wanted to tell through the album. But it has another meaning - this is the song I composed for my funeral. I wanted it to evoke a bit of sadness, but within the sadness, also the light of hope, positive memories, and strength.
